Girlfriends Gathering Milestone Birthday Party

Recently Girlfriends Gathering
gathered for another craft day and
birthday celebrations!

Since everyone has a birthday sometime this year,
I had a bouquet of Birthday flowers waiting for everyone to take home

Some of us are celebrating milestone birthdays this year -
10, 40 and three of us turning 60!

Happy Birthday Rinne!
Happy Birthday Marj!
Happy Birthday Karla, Nora and Me!
When you're turning 60, you can either claim it or try to ignore it...we're claiming it!
I made each of us turning 60 a special '60' tiara...
K - arla

N - ora

T- ami

We shared a wonderful day of good eats, fun & friendship!

Kim needed an additional outlet, so work where you can, LOL!

George even grab some lovin' from Gail!

I offered two projects and some brought their own projects to work.
I did not get pics of everyone's projects (sorry!).
I've been cleaning out my 'STASH' and shared old clipboards and miscellaneous lids
for creating...

Happy Birthday to these
AMAZING FRIENDS!

August 12th Deadline...Halloween Altered Matchbox Swap

Feeling artsy-crafty...how about joining an Altered Matchbox Swap?

It was a tough decision for me not to choose a theme that was soft tones, flowery,
blingy and totally froufrou.

But, with the suggestion of others, time to change it up and go with a holiday theme...Halloween!

Handmade Christmas Gifts

Happy December 21st... only 4 more days till Christmas!
I am still working on Belle's stocking, hoping to finish it today!

Here are some of my handmade 2013 Christmas gifts
My friend Linda as a little girl all gussied up as a little fairy in her fairy garden... isn't she cute!?

My handmade 1953 December Just Buttons magazine cover stocking ornaments for the
Evening Star Button Club gift exchange.

One of my recycled, recreated, empty toilet paper roll birdhouses, en route now to someone special for Christmas.  Surprise!

Are you are still creating gifts too????
I hope I am not the only one running this late... Smile!
