'Tis the Season

I've made no changes to my photo space issue.  
 I keeping checking my blog -
today it is allowing me to share photos. 

Hopefully Blogger will be kind and allow me to
post additional photos later.

My Sparkly Christmas Shoe

Not long ago I posted about pickin at our local Goodwill Outlet store and these awesome vintage sparkly shoes  

I mentioned I should create a Christmas display with them

These elves look happy in their sparkly shoe.

(Note re: on-going photo space issues - some days Blogger allows me to post photos in the body of my post and some days not.  I have found that if my original image is saved at 354 PX, Blogger will sometimes allow me to post it... like today, but not always. 

However, something happens to the clarity of my photos when I do this.  When I view my photos at 354 PX they are not blurry, but after I upload them to post, they are blurry as seen in the above Christmas elf shoe.  Any ideas why??

Autumn Activities

Early November till recently has been nuts with our son's accident, my 'commitments' and this on-going issue of 'Whoops, you've used up your photo space."

I was hoping to share photos with you of a tag swap and my October Girls Rule Road Trip #2, but not today.  Today seems to be one of those days I cannot upload photos.
Some days I can, some days not.   

   

I participated in Dawn Blackstead's Autumn tag swap.
The tag theme was Halloween, Thanksgiving or Autumn.  
I chose the theme of Autumn.

I've heard others are experiencing blogspot photo space issues.
Are you having this issue?

I understand there is limited free photo space.  What I cannot figure out is how I used mine so quickly and why some days I can upload photos and some days I cannot.  Do I really need to buy monthly photo storage so soon?

How about you, how many GB have you used in your 'free' space?

Weekend Treasure Hunt

It's been awhile since I've had a good treasure picking day.

This weekend I visited a local thrift store warehouse where items are purchased by the pound.

I' m thinking those vintage sparkly silver shoes are crying out for a Christmas redo!

 Two vintage smaller suitcases: Luce & Samsonite.  Each suitcase is full

of ephemera and other smaller treasures.

Adorable infant Santa sleeper... maybe I'll use it on my Christmas tree.

 French Women, sheet music, Christmas wreath (needs some help), vintage vase,

snowflake buttons, vintage pins, natural Christmas garland, Ooh La la french puzzle pieces & more.

After our treasure hunt, Tara & I meet for lunch at California Pizza on the Country Club Plaza.  

What a great day!
