I created three different tag ideas before settling on this design

Materials cut, prepped and ready to assemble - notice the wonderful pink flocked paper. It was lovely by itself, but as you will see, I added more sparkle with pink frosted glitter
My bluebird is ready for his close up...
The bottom fringe is pink crepe paper folded over several times, cut in half, then hand-sewn down its center to create a smocking/gathered effect, then distressed with ink and fringed with scissors
On the back- If happy little bluebirds fly...
Whew, they are finished & mailed

ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see your email because I haven't received mine yet but now you have me all excited. You received some beautiful tags and they look great on your stand.
You did a great job on your tags and I hope I am lucky enough to get one of yours. Will let you know. I signed up as a follower but am not sure blogger is working well today. Will try again later if it doesn't pop up.
