These buckles & buttons are circa 1860s - mid 2000.
I am always amazed at the many techniques, materials and designs used in creating buckles & buttons.

ReplyDeleteI am drooling over your celluloid trays. I wrote an award for 2012 in Michigan for a Celluloid, Best Assortment. It was to honor Helen McCredie, because I took a first the last time one was written and she is determined to get me. lol She may........she was new then and has learned a lot. Your trays are beautiful and thank you for sharing. I see you also collect buckles, another great love of mine!! I hope to make it to your neck of the woods some day!

Thank you for enlarging these so we can see the details. They are some amazing trays. It really shows the range celluloid buttons have. My daughter also collects elephant buttons and really enjoyed your tray.
